i have done following tests after possible exposure with HIV 1) HIV PCR RNA (Quantative) after 21 days (Result-Not detected viral load) 2) HIV Assay 4th generation after 101 days (Result Negative) 3) HIV PCR RNA (Quantative) after 101 days (Result-viral load not detected) 4) HIV ab/ag combo test after 101 days (Result negative) 5) HIV ab/ag combo test after 114 days (Result Negative) do i need to re-test again or my results are conclusive? i am so anxious please someone tell me
No need of further testing
People with HIV exposure need screening at 6 weeks and then after 3 months. In patients with HCV Infection, screening for HIV at 6 months is also recommended. If you are negative for HCV, you do not need further testing.
No need of re-testing . These are sufficient investigations to exclude HIV infection.
