Need proper history and examination
Asalam waileikum.
A proper history and examination is mandatory as lumber pain is not always regarded as kidney pain. Investigations are done based on differential diagnosis. Secondly there are rare side effects of certain medications and drug interactions,so proper drug history is also important.
