My mother is facing nausea and apprehension about her health whenever she visits somewhere or someone visit us. Symptoms included Fear and Rushing out of that place. She feels completely fine at home and face such conditions when she go out or somebody visit us. She is also facing stomach problems like bloating, indigestion and sometimes the lateral of her tummy kinda get hard(muscles of tummy). She is a mild BP patient too.

She is probably having generalized anxiety disorder with social phobia and the abdominal problems do occur with anxiety which we term dyspepsia and if prolonged history we label it as IBS.... In order to treat her we use a biopsychosocial approach in which we not only council the patient and do psychotherapy but also prescribe some medicines.... I would suggest to visit a nearby competent medical specialist to address the problem and arrange counseling session and if needed put her on proper medications

Her past medical history and family history is part of assessment. Need to ask other symptoms and lab wortup for organic cause.

Its a paychological diaorder. Tab sulvorid 25 mg two times before meal and tab agovis at night for 1 month
