You mentioned you took medication which increased your weight. Do you mean steroids? And have you visited a physician for workup regarding the cause of your substantial weight increase? Problem with allergies is that they come and go and you have to take measures either to avoid the triggering factors or take anti allergen meds for relief.

Really sorry for the troubles you had been through so far. I think on the very first hand we need to evaluate that the allergy you are talking about has ever been diagnosed as Bronchial asthma for which you took any treatment and resulted in your weight gain.
Secondly, your weight gain can be due to the hormonal imbalance you mentioned, we call this condition as polycyclic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).
I think the better way of doing this would be to visit a physician (internal medical specialist) at the least and after going through the important points of your problems and concerns, examining you and may be ordering few tests we will be able to manager in the most appropriate way.
Till that time if you are having flu, runny nose or may be whistling sounds coming out of your chest you can continue with;
Tablet Kestine 10mg before going to bed
Salbutamol inhaler 2puffs as when required
Let me reassure you that your problems are quite genuine but can be easily addressed if you contact a good physician as soon as possible
Best regards
Get well soon

Hi
I would recommend you to see a respiratory physician. U would need couple of tests as possibility of asthma or other allergic conditions is there. Better to see and get investigated. Thanks
