Asking For Other, Male 55, Karachi
Their was severe pain in the leg muscles from above the knees which has now gone down to feet and caused swelling. The pain is intense. I only feel slightly relieved when my leg is in elevation. My feet has swelled. Please check the picture below.
Also tell which tests should I conduct and what are the triggers of this pain? It's not happening for the first time. On and off my leg shows discomfort. Please guide!
Any dietary lifestyle changes required?

Any fever calf tenderness? Injury ? CBC Doppler uric acid level

you need to see an internal medicine specialist as soon as possible. ger all basic screening tests done: CBC, Random blood sugar, UCE, LFTs
As there is pain and swelling, take it urgently serious and get Doppler studies of lower limbs first and if normal,you may require further investigations for confirmation of diagnosis and treatment
Most likely, this is cellulitis (skin infection) for which antibiotics will be required. In addition, slight leg elevation and NSAIDs will be helpful to reduce the swelling. Best approach will be to see a physician personally. Also, Doppler venous ultrasound should be done to rule out blood clot specially if you have traveled long distance recently.
I would like to see the patient in person. This may be acute cellulitis as i can see swelling with overlying redness. Detailed history and examination is required. Please get Blood sugar levels, serum uric acid , serum creatinine before you visit any doctor.

There may be lot of reasons for this presentation, some of them may be serious that should be ruled out first then less serious things should be considered.
