my father was having knee pain. he got tested for uric acid about 7 months ago it was 7.1. and now increased I'm attaching new results. please check and review. also whom he should consult nephrologist or urologist
yes he have increased Uric Acid and this may cause several problems.

Get an ultrasound of kidneys , ureters and bladder ( KUB) . if no stones on ultrasound no need of urologist at this stage of your disease . consultant your local area Nephrologist. but if knee joint pain is predominant ,get a rheumatologist opinion

Uric acid is raised for which dietary control is needed along with medication. Also need information if he is diabetic, hypertensive, overweight or not? Then I can advise treatment and investigations accordingly. So book an online consultation with me for further management.
