Asking For Self, Male 29, Lahore

aoa! I am being diagnosed by 4mm stone in ultrasound around kidney/ureter. taking pain killers and basil water. How can it be confirmed that what kind of stone it is? calcium one or uric acid one? is complete urine test enough or there are better solutions for it? so It will help in diluting this stone and overcoming future tendency. Thanks

you have to go for stone analysis and for that you need the stone. and 4mm is too small, it should pass through by now.

Asalamoalikum, 4mm stones can pass through, if you drink 2 liters of water. Most of the stone are calcium oxalate, but if u pass a stone, send to pathology lab. Once you know the type of stone u can take further advice, for time being take plenty of time water with sodium citrate sachet once per day.
