Asking for Mother, Female, 58 years old, Lahore Pakistan

My mother is diabetic since last 20 years. Please see the attached reports and tell that these high urea and creatinine values can be made normal with medicine? Can we hope that her kidneys havnt failed and dialysis stage is not here? Plz dr reply. I am extremly worried.

hi there your mother has chronic kidney disease or in other words she has weakened kidneys. she does not need dialysis at the moment it seems. wt she needs is a strict sugar and blood pressure control and 6 monthly follow up with a nephrologist. hope it helps

Dr can we hope that she will stay safe fr kidney failure in future and more damage will not occur? Can this be treated with medicine? Her nephrologist has given her medicines. Will this damage stop now?
