Asking for Self, Female, 28 years old, Kamalia

I am having severe headache from past many days on the back of my head, neck and shoulders.the pain was extremely throbbing that i was unable to even move head. Later ,i developed fever which i didn't notice until i started feeling fatigued. I had body aches as well along with nausea. My dr prescribed me Valoran, Esazole and Maxophine which only gave me relief for few hours. Im taking these medications since yesterday afternoon. I have started developing fever and body aches again. Please recommend if i should change my medication or undergo a certain test. As i have a job and cant be continuously absent. Thankyou.

Your pain seems more associated with fever. Please do your workup for fever and covid pcr etc. F all comes negative and pain is still there then we can think of CT scan or other tests.

Is there any neck stiffness and vomiting? With this kind of headache we need to rule out meningitis. Your increased white cell count in the blood and CRP would show infection. You need a CT scan of your head with and without contrast before you have a lumbar puncture to examine csf which a neurologist would recommend after looking at your scan. Even for investigations you will need admission to hospital. It all depends upon whether you have persistent headache fever and neck stiffness accompanied by vomiting.
