Asking for Mother, Female, 55 years old, Faisalabad

Asalamoaliakum Respected Doctors. A round of applause for you guys working day and night selflessly in this pandemic. May Allah Grant you the highest rank in Jannah.

I am here to consult about the mother's condition over Trigeminal Neuralgia. Its been 3 months. My mother is suffering from this disease. We visited a neurologist in Faisal Hospital (Dr. Nazir Hussain). The doctor prescribed some medicines which included "Tegral". The medicine is effective, but it comes with a lot of side effects as well. Like dizziness and the effect of the medicine is also not long-lasting.

So I would like to have a suggestion what is the best way to cure it permanently. I am willing to hear from you. Any help would be much appreciated.

Regards Arslan Akram.

Get her serum electrolytes , renal function tests and CBC done.
These side effects are not entirely bcz of tegral only,
Well
Take tegral as it is
Get the tests done
Start tab bacefol, 1 tab two times a day.
Tab lingab 75 mg, 1 tab at night.

Respected sir my mother has been taking meds for more than a month. I am asking for permanent cure through surgery and other methods.

As taking tegral and these other meds will only work as a pain killer not as healing those nerves, so kindly suggest me which is the best way to cure it permanently

there are many medics to control the pain , if its resistant to new medications , to be tried , then we can have surgical option for curing her.
