Recently I visited Neurosurgeon. After reviewing MRI result I was suggested for operation.
My MRI i got below result: Straightening of lumbosacral spine with multilevel disc degenerative changes, facet joint arthropathy and ligamentum flavum hypertrophy. Changes are most marked at L4-L5 level with diffuse disc bulge resulting in moderate spinal canal stenosis and moderate bilateral lateral recess stenosis, more marked on left side.
Plz send MRI films
Please send your MRI reports and call me through marham for complete history
Cannot rely on reporting
MRI films and history clinical examination will determine need for surgery
probably need surgery ...contact me via marham for better assessment
From the report, it looks like you need surgery, however, I would like to examine you and would like to see mri films, you can visit me at ammar Medical Complex daily around 4-5pm
Well I think you should have a thorough clinical examination before any suggestion. As your MRI is showing a significant disc at L4 L5 level but as multilevel dics bulge with hypertrophied Ligamentum Flavum has also been mentioned in MRI so spinal stenosis in your case must be ruled out before any decision. Remember it's patient who is treated not the MRI. I have seen many significant MRIs with clinically stable patients.

Sir I've Neurosurgeon in Aga Khan (I guess I shouldn't show name) I was suggested for surgery for and epidural inject option as well for temporary relief. I had a very severe pain I was even unable to sit. Yesterday I went AKUH for epidural injection. Now ALHAMDULILLAH I'm okay. But as doctor suggested it's temporary one. I've researched a lot. A few surgeons say don't go for surgery and on the other hand other encourage. What I've researched is there is slight difference between patients' pain management after surgery and without surgery in long-term. Can you please guide how if I choose cupping or any nonsurgical method? or if surgery, is there any risk?

I need to examine you and then look at your MRI. Only then I can suggest something
First thing is that you should take atleast 2 or 3 Neurosurgical opinion before proceeding to surgery.
can't say anything without personally doing examination and MRI films..but according to report you should be operated
