First of all, get your HbA1c checked(it gives history of 3 months sugar level) so we can know if you actually have diabetes or it was one time thing. Next try to replace processed with whole grain, like instead of white bread use nulti grain bread. instead of white atta roti, bring chakki aata flour. etc. another thing is to add protein in diet. and lastly, add 10minutes of light walk before lunch and dinner daily. hope this helps.
