I want to ask about the diet I should take if I want to deliver an 8 pound baby? At 31 weeks the fetus weighs around 1.68 kgs.

yes, it's healthy but it's taken after delivery to help clean up and provide energy. won't it be risky in pregnancy?

You should aim for a healthy weight and delivery instead of focusing on 8 pounds. If your baby is lagging behind in growth, the reason needs to be determined first. Do you have any condition like pregnancy induced hypertension? Discuss with your gynecologist.
For good growth, stay hydrated, have a high protein diet and maintain a good level of activity depending upon your history and condition.
