I had my c section one week ago. I am breastfeeding my baby. I was a thin person before pregnancy and now I feel like I have lost much weight after delivery. I look pale and weak. What should I do to increase weight?

After post pregnancy we become deficient of many nurtrients and minerals, you should increase your intake of nutrients and calories intake for atleast 2 months to recover the deficiencies

Dear, you should take calorie rich diet. Have 5 to 6 small frequent meals throughout the day and try to have something that provides energy eg. milk, nuts or juice before breastfeeding the child.

Salam dear as you go through operate u need to increase your protein intake(egg, meat, poultry, fish) in any form.secondly to meet ur iron needs you must add green leafy vegetables , meat, nuts and but c rich foods (lemon, orange, etc). In your diet. To increase your healthy body weight eat well blanaced and nutrient dense food in daily meal. Try to add milk yougrt, cheese, fruits, cereals, meat, veg in dalily diet. Take healthy snacks in-between meals.you can use butter, peanut butter in your meals as well.
Don’t forget to have energy-dense snacks between meals (smoothies, shakes, milk, fresh fruit juice) to gain weight! For pale look, Get your CBC checked! Have palak, saag, meethi, kalaigee, eggs! Expose yourself to sunlight everyday! B complex vitamins in the form of supplement is must!
