Good morning,my mum histology results of her specimen just came out and the result stated it's Invasive Carcinoma (No Special Type) with Dcis Component (Nottingham Histologic Grade II) They recommended ER,PR and HER-2-NEU testing.
Please is this deadly already? What's the best treatment? Must the breast be cut off? I feel the result is wrong,our family got no history of cancer.

According to international figures every one in eighth female is victimized by breast cancer . In Pakistan, it is every sixth.
No, it is not deadly, if you seek medical attention timely. Now, internationally the world has advanced a lot, in treatments of breast cancer. And even in Pakistan, all those options are available, if you know where to look for them.

Yes, it is cancer. ER, PR, Her 2 neu should be done. Then staging by CE CT scan chest, abdomen and pelvis
This report confirms breast cancer diagnosis, but it's not deadly. you will need other workup to stage the disease and then further management plan will be decided as per disease stage.
better to go for further investigation as soon as possible so that treatment can be started.
