My father is suffering from slip disc and knee pain issues. from some days he is not able to walk, a paralyze situation. I have attached his X-ray and report pls advise
asslamo allycum, for back pain we needs MRI scan of lumbosacral spine . it looks like that your father is also suffering from knee pain and hip pain as well as was shown in Xrays . Disc desiccation changes are seen at multiple intervertebral disc levels.
modic change seen at l4 l5 vertebral l3vel.
schmoral node seen at l4-l5 level.
A suspicious looking T1w& T2W hypo intense focus seen in intra dural region at D12.
posterior disc herniation seen at l3-l4 & L5-s level having central & bilateral para-central components causing impression on spinal canal & bilateral exiting nerve roots of mild to moderate severity.
no spinal canal stenosis
no abnormal intensity signal in spinal cord
posterior elements are intact
conus lies at normal level
rest of study appears unremarkable
