knee replacement for a bed ridden patient is neither needed nor indicated. don't waste money and give unnecessary surgical exposure to the paralysed patient

If she’s paralyzed which I assume is CVA or Hemiplegia, knee replacement in that leg won’t be much helpful

Hi, kindly elaborate the reason of her paralysis, did she get stroke? However she needs to be examined by orthopaedic surgeon who got experience in joints replacement and will decide if she is the candidate of knee replacement or not. I practice in Islamabad and you are welcome to visit me in clinic. Thanks

If she is paralysed then what’s the need for knee replacement, it’s only needed when somebody can’t walk due to knee pain and knee deformity.
