Talk to Orthopedic Surgeon on Lower Back And Neck Pain

person-avatar

Asking for Self, Male, 16 years old, Hyderabad

I am having pain in neck and lower back since 1 year which has radiated to arms and legs. Have been to many doctors but there is only temporary improvement (pain doesnt go away completely) but the pain shoots again. Will physiotherapy be of any use? If yes how much time will be required approximately for healing and approximate cost of full treatment. Below attached are MRIS and some of doctor prescriptions

Disc bulge and scoliosis can get better with spinal manipulations but this is chronic case so it will take some time to heal . If you can show me the case physically i can guide you better or visit any chiropractor near you and get it fixed.

A cervical trauma seems to be the major culprit in this case. Need to fix atlas first, followed by scoliosis correction.

For such a young age, this presentation is unusual. The treatment on prescription is absolutely inadequate. The scoliosis seems to be due to muscle spasms; which is possible to correct nonsurgically in delicate hands at this young age. A combination of different approaches like different methods to relieve muscle spasms, kill neurogenic pain and pain due to muscle spasms, botox injections, getting nerve roots to regenerate traumatised myelin sheath and get healthier axons with latest medications will cure this patient and get protruded discs to dehydrate and retract. It needs careful and delicate handling. Not any single approach on its own is helpful.
