m also a dentist, but i need orthopaedic guideline for my problem.. I find bone growth on the backside of my right hand small 3 bony growth, but I didn't find any swelling and pain.. n m not sure it's bone bc it's moving along with the closing and opening movement of my hand.. what should I do?? It's bc of some trauma which I didn't feel during my procedures or it's bone growth??

may be a ganglion , or may be some dislocation..if it happened during some procedure.. You should try some traction if there is no swelling..

salamz sister. it seems you having ganglion. it feels like a bony swelling but it is basically a soft tissue swelling coming from back your wrist joint commonly. it's not necessarily due to trauma, but trauma may agrravate it. if it's painless then no treatment required but in your case it needs treatment after having an x ray. we have many options to treat it. will be discussed later on after x ray.

at this stage no need to worry if size is constant if increasing then needs to b aspirated and inj. depomedrol intrasheath
