Talk to Orthopedic Surgeon on Pain In Joint
Asking For Mother, Female 63, karachi
Age 63 around and have diabetes from a long time but under controlled and have asthma problem with sputum although it is not the concern right now. she awake in the morning and suddenly pain started in her joint in one leg only and have pain in sitting and getting up which worsen when she has to go to washroom as she cannot get up suddenly and feel a lot of pain, there is no swelling or no redness around the pained joint.

I went to a general physician and he just gave a pain killer injection and recommended few medicines like ponston fort etc and now she is doing fine within hour

it looks like knee joint and arthritis. needs to do the xrays of knee in standing ,to grade the degenerative changes and then further management according to the grade

weight is like 45 kg and didn't do any test pain sudden start 2 days in the morning when awake from sleep and it only get worsen when try to stand up pain is between the joint below the femur and now don't know where it is in bone or in muscle but when consulted to a general physician in a local clinic they gave a pain killer injection and some medication and pain was gone within an hour and they suggested medication for like asthma and cough sputum etc but the worst pain in the leg was gone but the local clinic doctor was some Sindhi and didn't explain very well about the problem
