Asking for Father, Male, 79 years old, Mirpurkhas Sindh

My father got austin moore implant about 45 days ago since than urine catheter is attached, he was supposed to walk in a month but because of extreme weakness he is not walking, so I need to know how to look after catheter, things need to be in view and for how long it can be used and what damages in can cause, he is not a sugar patient Alhamdolillah but is a heart patient and has prostate enlargeme problen he used to get Tamsulin 0.4 since many years but not now days he is taking this tab. We change catheter in 15 days and use silicon foley

catheter needs to b removed as early as possible,but before that u have to drill the bladder(means bladder muscle exercises ,please see nearby urologist for prostate and also for catheter removal or care

if he was catheterised just because of surgery without any prior urological condition then it can be considered as medical negligence I'm afraid. Now start catheter clamping n bladder exercises before taking it out. If any concern then need to consult urologist straight away.
As far as walking is concerned, he should he walking right from next day of surgery. Continue with physiotherapy n full weight bearing exercises. If there is unbearable pain in hip then go n see the operating surgeon for follow up.
