Back Pain In Middle (sometime Very Sharp)

Question

My Mrs. has arise back pain issue at the middle.The pain radiates from back to front.Facing problem during movement.
Also at night, numbness feel in hands.
please suggest either i should consult with Orthopedic doctor or neuro physician?
