Asking For Self, Female 31, Karachi
I have a bony lump on my wrist. It appeared around a week ago and since the day I have read about it, I have started to feel minute pain in the middle if my hand.
Kindly suggest what should be done. Is it something serious? How would it go away? I am worried as I am getting married in few months
most probably a ganglionic cyst if its size increasing and painful then excision is the best treatment otherwise massage and splint are the nonoperative management sometimes aspiration can be done but recurrence is common

clinical examination is important.if mild pain and size is not increasing you can take painkillers.
if pain and swelling persist clinical examination and x-ray needed
Get an x ray of your wrist AP and Lateral views. Secondly most likely it is a ganglion . Which is not harmful. If it is painful you can take pain medications for short time . If it was a too painful or you are worried about its cosmetic appearance , then you have to remove it by a surgeon nearby .

Take Wrist Splint for sometimes may be it will be gone in few weeks time
