Asking For Self, Male 21, Karachi
Salam Almost 5 months ago,my femur is broken after which plate is inserted. I'm attaching X ray of after 5 months of surgery so kindly tell me how much of my bone is healed till now and how much weight can I bear on my leg as right now I'm doing partial weight bearing with the help of walker.

In my opinion Radiographic union is achieved, but you should start full weight bearing after consultation and clinical examination by ur Treating surgeon

My surgeon still recommended me for maximum 70% weight bearing with the help of walker.
Unke according mai abhi full weight bearing nh krskta kehrhe hain krni bhi hai tou stick ki help se 3 to 4 steps krskte ho ghar mai hi but mai second opinion chahrha hun kiun ke mjhe ye darr hai ke muscles itne weak na hojayein ke jb wo permission dein phir chla na jaye ya limb aajaye.

an orthopaedic Doctor can comment on Xray better....however being Prosthetist and Orthotist incase fracture is not healed well i will advise you to make an Ischial Weight bearing KAFO device....as it will offload your weight and you can walk better and also your lower limb will be aligned better. Otherwise contracture may be formed at Hip and knee level

According to many doctors here and my surgeon also mera fracture almost heal hogya hai so still mjhe need hai iss device ki?

But mere surgeon still mana kr rhe hain full weight bearing se wo kehrhe hain ke 3 to 4 steps bass chlskte ho wo bhi with the help of stick ab mjhe darr ye hai ke muscles aese na develop hojayein ke limp aajaye ya chla na jaye
