Talk to Orthopedic on Fracture In Left Hand
Asking For Self, Male 34, rawalpindi
find the attached x ray 1st one ia recent and 2n one is 25day before. i had a plaster on my hand from 25days but x rays shows the fracture is still there kindly tell me is it ok amnd will recover through plastet or should i go for surgurey ..expert please reply

it will heal. keep the plaster applied for 6 weeks approx. then start physiotherapy

no need of surgery it will heal and remodel so plaster for 6 to 8 week it will be ok

Keep it in plaster for good 6 weeks at least n then use splint (futuro splint) for another couple of weeks. You will keep seeing fracture on xray till 3mnths, even beyond that. So don't concentrate on xray but on yourself. Thanks.
