According to MRI reports i m suffering from Grade II median meniscus but some doctors are saying that i have ACL while some other are suggesting surgery to me...so i need your valuable suggestions regarding my problem that should i go for a surgery (orthroscopy) or not? is it curable without surgery?
it depends on your examination if knee is lax and MRI showing ACL injury then arthroscopy is must but with ACL reconstruction
first, examination of knee is necessary. if ACL is in doubt even after examination and MRI then Arthroscopy is suggested, in which we proceed according to injury. surgery is suggested.Go ahead.
Quads streghthening exercises if painful and knee swells frquently or locking happens disturbing your daily routine and your job then go for arthroscopy
Ideally you should be examined and your scans should be seen by a surgeon. Then a decision is made.
How much is pain. If disturb daily routine then go for surgery. ACL on MRI is intact.
needs history and clinical examination
Grade 1 injury only conservative treatment no surgery needed and MRI show ACL intact
