Looking for advice. On 3rd December, 2021 bent over and felt a pop and shooting pain down my right leg, next day totally unable to move my leg and in agonising pain, tried to stand twice and fainted with the pain. Doctor suggested me MRI. I had MRI and diagnosed "IMPRESSION: At L5/S1, disc desiccator changes, asymmetrical disc bulge and annular tear in right lateral recess. Mild impingement of right S1 nerve root seen. Mild facet joint hypertrophy". After MRI, he suggested physiotherapy and I am doing that. Feeling better but once a day or two, pain shoots down my right leg mostly in buttocks and thigh muscle, at that time I can't walk even I can't sit more that 5 minutes asap I need bed when I lay, I feel comfortable. Is recovery process slow in winters? My question is now I'm 5 weeks since it happened and I still can't walk more than a few meters when pain radiates.
