It depends upon the diagnosis or at least provisional diagnosis that biopsy or surgery is best. For this decision needs detailed history, clinical examination, X rays, USG and may need MRI ankle.

you need to visit Orthopaedic surgeon .
first to establish the diagnosis after that to proceed for treatment
Depending upon your complete history, examination and investigations including xray and MRI, blood tests; need to decide what is the suspicion. if they think it is a dangerous aggressive lesion then biopsy first. If it is small not agressive lesion then surgery can be done.
You may book a video appointment to discuss your findings including investigations.
Hello I want complete history and for how long you have been through this condition previously you have done any investigation blood test or x rays or MRI
Get an MRI and post
without surgery it's completely treatable after taking some medicine don't you worry detailed history required kindly book appointment with me within days you will be completely fine inshallah
You need to get examined by an orthopaedic surgeon to find out the exact cause of your ankle swelling.sometimes we can reach the diagnosis and treat it by getting some xrays or if needed an mri ankle joint.
asslamo allycum, needs to know how the pain started, is any injury, any other medical condition, which part of the ankle swollen , any Xrays , blood tests or scan done , then some can decide further action.
