Talk to Pediatric Neuro physician on Head Injury

A few days ago my baby had a severe fall, fell from my hands and his head hit the tile. 3 days ago i noticed a SOFT squishy bump on his head (x ray attached). Doc said it ll go away gradually but it is only becoming tighter (more fluid i m worried). Plz help

x-ray is not good modiality to look for head trauma ,CT brain is better option. anyways if your baby is otherwise doing well there is no need to worried about it. tightening of swelling indicate that fluid inside is organised and then slowly it goes away. you may use cold and hot compresses to fasten this process.

It can be depressed skull fracture .CT head with bone window should be done and paediatric neurosurgical consultation should be taken .
