Tonsillectomy And Adenoidectomy

Question

My nephew was having tonsillitis over and over again... After CT scan results, doctor gave advice about tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy... Other doctor made us little worried about its consequences... Please let us know about
1.  Will it impact immunity badly
2.  Will there be any affect on puberty and sexual health
3. Will this cause growth problems in heights
4.  We have visited general physician... Which doctor should we see for better advice

Please help us in resolving these issues
