It seems we need to rule out whether your son has sensitive breathing tubes or Bronchial Asthma. Does he wake up at night due to breathing difficulties? Does he have or has had any skin allergy (eczema)? Is any family member suffering from nose allergy (Hay fever), eczema or even Bronchial Asthma? The treatment recommended for such patients is in the form of Inhalers. There is a rescuer inhaler to relieve the breathing difficulty when needed and a preventer inhaler for regular use in case the child needs the rescuer inhaler too frequently or frequently wakes up at night with breathing difficulty.
