My daughter got an anal fissure after passing a hard stool. I was prescribed lidocaine cream for 3 days only. But I want to know if there is any other cream to apply till wound heals pls. Thank you.

add small amount of salt in slightly warm water and make her sit in it for about 10-20 minutes daily. continue using lidocaine until pain settles.

Thank you! The doctor here told not to do sitz bath. I don't know why! Anyhow is there another cream apart from Lidocaine to heal the wound/scar pls? Anti bacterial?
