Asking for Other, Female, 1.25 years old, Uk
My daughter is 15 months old and she is mostly dependant on fresh milk. She has at least 3 bottles per say 7-8 ounces each. I am a first time mother. I don’t know what foods to give her, how often to feed her. Maybe she isn’t getting enough nutritions that’s why she is getting dark circles. Please advise me what to feed and how often and the maximum amount of milk intake. Thank you

Thank you.
after one yesr 24 ounces per day of milk in enough
encourage her yogurt,banana,soft diet,cerealec
start things slowly
take 3 days for one food to introduce and developbthe taste
Start soft foods. Egg, banana, apples, kheer, halwa, khichri, mashed potatoes. Give small meals every 3-4 hours. Gradually skip the day time bottle with a meal as well. If the baby demands milk at night, give. Start Ferosoft Drops 10 in the morning and 10 at night for 2 months. Syrup Vidaylin 2.5ml once a day for 1 month.
Dear Parent,
I can understand your situation and your concerns are genuine.
After 12 months of age you can start your kid with fresh milk but make sure no more than 20 ounces per day as consumption of more then this amount causes iron deficiency anaemia and also deprived your kid with other healthy nutrition as he/she is satisfying his/her appetite with milk.
Make a routine of 5 times solid food, with 3 meal times and 2 snacks in between.
it would be like breakfast, snack time, lunch, evening snack and dinner
you don't need to stress your self with how to give because now it's the time you can give any food except Nuts but make sure food particles are not a size to impose choking risk.
start with week 1 and introduce food gradually it will take time to develop habit, you can give milk in breakfast and with dinner.
Breakfast: boil egg/cereal/bread/Paratha quarter only +milk
Snack: seasonal fruits/ custard/ sagodana
lunch : khchri/daaliya/boil rice/ roti you can add small amount of meat in form of qeema to Khchri daaliya or with rice , even add soft cooked Veges
snack:fruits/ or any other simple home cooked food
Dinner:same like lunch+milk
Keep in mind she may eat in small amount initially.
At this point without knowing your kid I would not recommend any supplements or multivitamins.
Thank you. I hope it will help you.
