my 11 month old daughter is on teething, she is pooping a alot, 5,6 times in a day but she don't have loose motions. i have given her sachets, Qplux but nthngg is working. should i start her antibiotic? currently i m giving entamizol syrup,
5-6 poops if small is amount and non watery then take them as normal .no need to give any medication.if watery then get her physcially evaluate by pediatrician
entamizole is also an antibiotic.

no need for any medication if stool not watery only probiotic ,ap yougurt and banana den bachay ko ,watery stool hon than Enterogermina vial den .Entamizol bhe antibiotic hae plz stop
please know that the most common cause of diarrhea in infants and toddlers is virus. viral diseases tend to resolve spontaneously withing 7 to 10 days. antibiotics (including entamizole) are not required. just make sure your baby is properly hydrated by giving ors after every watery stool and continue to give good diet and maintain hygiene. you can use probiotics and/or zinc supplements but please save your baby from anti biotics.

and as you said the stool is not loose so it's not considered diarrhea. if she poops after taking feed/food then it's a normal reflex in children and I'd called a gastrocolic reflex

no, antibiotic is not needed in diarrhea,give low osmolar ors if frequent loose stools n oral intake is decreased

yeah its not watery, that's normal in consistency, but before teething she was doing 2 per day that's why m concerned
