Assalam o alaikum, My baby (age 2months, male), unfortunately he takes supplement milk instead of mother feed owing to insufficiency of mother feed, since birth he is suffering from cholic pain, gas, sometime diarrhea, sometime costipation, reflux actually, some infant formulas cause constipation, gas, cholic pain and some formulas cause diarrhea, some increase reflux. Initially, he used aptamil formula, which caused constipation, Dr asked for FSH and Stool DR, FSH was normal and stool DR was also normal with no reducing substances in stool, Dr. suggested formula meiji, and medicine lacatase enzyme and digas drops, meiji seemed quite better for 20 days, however he had gas and cholic pain, after a month, (when the baby turned a month old) My baby started refluxing more than normal babies do, we changed formula lactogen, It caused motion, again we started meiji, meiji caused refluxes again, we went to dr, he started antibiotic for three days and changed the formula meiji lactose

dont change formula so frequently. colic is normal upto 3mnths of age. then it usually resolves it self. if ur chikd is gaining weight n passing urine adequately then reflux doesnt need any treatment. how ever if ur baby is passing loose stools and having dehydration then u must consult pediatrician
in spite of working to increase mother feed you worked hard to change formula milk.

sir mother feed is ok now but he is not willing to feed, we are still trying our best, feeder teat is easy to take, may be it is the reason,
can we use manual or electric pump? if it is not harmful to mother?

- Better milk is Mother Feed.
- If formula milk, so don't give in bottle, feed with spoon.
- If formula milk, better to give him lactose free milk i-e Morinaga BF NL33 milk.
- Give him ENTEROGERMINA daily for 3 days.

how to know if he has cow milk protein allergy? is it possible he might have cows milk protein allergy that may cause these symptoms constipation, diahrea, gas, acid reflux,
however, he doesn't have anaphylaxis symptoms
