syp: Keflex 125 mg/5ml, give ek chamach ( 5 ml) every 8 hourly (subah, dopaher, sham) x 5 days
Syp: Ondatro (ondansteron) adha chamach (2.5 ml) subah dopaher sham x 3 days
O.R.S / peditral (give ORS instead of water)
stop milk & milk products for 2 days

Acute Diarrhoea is usually a self limiting disease. Most of the times it is due to viruses in young children. Use of antibiotics is not warranted in an otherwise healthy infant at her age. What we are worried about in cases of diarrhoea and vomiting is dehydration or decreased body water. The patient needs about 2 ounces of oral rehydration solution slowly with cup and spoon after each watery stool. The diarrhoea will settle over time.
