Assalam.o.alaikum my brothers ear is flowing continuously filled with pus with pain about 3 weeks ago it's starts please tell me some remedies he has also a nephrologic syndrome urine in protine it starts about 6 years ago

infections are very common with nephrotic syndrome.Before going into details of earache you will have to first tell whether he is on steroids or off steroids as of now.Need to know complete details about his nephrotic syndrome status and then probably he would also need ENT consultation to examine his eardrum.
If you must go to an Ear Nose Throat Doctor, better to go to Children Hospital, Lahore. They will be better aware how to deal with an ear infection in a child with Protein Losing Kidney Disease (Nephrotic Syndrome). If the patient is on full dose of steroids for 7 days or on alternate days steroids for 30 days his ability to fight an infection is compromised. In this case he needs to be vigorously treated. If he is in remission and off steroids a pus swab from ear should be sent to a reliable laboratory for Culture & Sensitivity and an appropriate antibiotic started until the report is received. Report will guide if the antibiotic needs to be changed or otherwise. The ear should be kept dry with “wicking” and ear drops avoided.
