my son is 1.5 months old. After birth he is on top feed meiji fmt. but after some days he gets constipated so dr recommend us to change his formula milk. so we switch to Nan optipro 1. in start formula milk suits him. but after 20 days he passed green watery stools. so dr recommend us to switch to lactose free milk. As soon his diarrhea stoped theb switch back to nan 1. from last 2 days we switch to nan 1. so he passed green loose very smelly stool. I am very worried. His birth weight was 2.6 kg. Now he is 3.7 kg.

2 days mai hi theek ho gay.... nan 1 start kerny k 1 day baad.. bohat zaida watery nhi hai... paste like stool hai

continue same. if wt is increasing then nothing to worry. but try to give milk by spoon. avoid feeder
- Better to start low lactose formula milk i-e Morinaga NL33.
- Give him Vit.D, 2 drops daily.
- Give him Vidyallin drops, 2drops 2 time.

during diarrhea dr recommend NL 33. Dr suggested as soon diarrhea stop theb switch back to normal formula.

Please don't change Formula Milk so frequently. Continue the same. Give him plenty of water. There's no need to worry. Consult a pediatrician if the condition persists for more than 2 weeks.
Low Osmolar ORS
mix 1 packet in 500ml of water.
Syp. Zincat-OD
1 spoon once daily for 14 days even if diarrhea stops.

Is he not on breastfeed? That is the best for baby so if possible, get him on to breastfeeding more. Don’t switch formula again and again. Is his bottle being sterilised? How often does he pass loose stool? Is it watery? Is there a rash in diaper area? Please see a paediatrician in your city for this issue. Please DO NOT give water to a 1.5 month old baby!
