Talk to Pediatrician on Frequent Stools
Asking for Other, Male, 8 years old, Karachi
So my 8 months old baby was diagnosed with dengue on last Monday. He was hospitalised for a few days and got released when he started recovering. He came back home on Sunday. He was doing all good alhumdolillah. But yesterday, he started pooping alot. Like after every solid meal or feed. The stools are small in size, not watery, grainy and not smelly. It has a little mucus too. I was just worried if this is diarrhoea?! Or could it be an after effect of dengue?! Pls let me know I’ll be grateful.

if baby is active and feeding well then no need to give antibiotics just give him ORS, YOGURT BANANA AND KHICHRI

seems like no relation with previous issue. you may use Yogurt, syrup osiris (zinc) and boiled rice for it.
It can happen in recovery phase.Continue feeding baby,give more fluids.And u can give Enterogermina ampule once every day
Seems like normal. Just give ORS and yogurt and banana
