Asking for Other, Female, 2.6 years old, MANCHESTER
My daughter is 2.6 years old. She has weak hair and rough look hair growth. No medical history. What can be done for this? Does hair shave (tind) works? Suggestions needed from community. Pic attached.
You can do tind if u want... And use a good shampoo for hairs..
dear concerned mother kindly visit your peadiatrician she needs to be assessed for micro and macro nutrition deficiencies
I thnk shaving thickens hairs..although no of hair follicles remain same bt it actually thickens..
plus improve diet of ur kids..
u can start some supplements
yes do shave two to three times with 6 months gap as it improves hairs health...start supplements like multivitamins, vitamins D and zinc and improve diet..
try oiling and massage .
She needs to have a clinical assessment, mainly her nutritional status.
She may be deficient of Iron, vitamin D or other important nutrients.
Improve her diet ( apples, green vegetables, red meat, fish, eggs).
If no improvement in 4 months after the dietary management, then needs to have necessary blood tests.
