This is acute pharyngitis/tonsillitis could be viral if she has symptoms of cough,sneezing bodyaches.In case of Bacterial especially streptococcus pharyngitis she needs to be treated with antibiotics.Give soft diet,Plenty of water,warm liquids,avoid tetra pack juices ketchup mayyonise.Brufen DS for pain.Do consult physician to examine and diagnose type of pharyngitis
