Your child needs to be thoroughly checked by some Paediatrician and he may advise you few relevant lab. tests ; to reach an accurate diagnosis and then a relevant treatment may then be given.

The history details are no longer available. It is not uncommon for children under five years, more so under one year of age, to have recurrent cough and colds with fever. However, if there are recurrent episodes of fever without apparent symptoms Urinary Tract Infections must be ruled out. If there are more than 10 episodes of upper respiratory tract infections in one year the toddler may need to be investigated for immune deficiency.
