Asking For Self, Female 37, Lahore
my baby boy is currently 5 months old.he switched to multiple formula milk due to lack of mother feed.he took Meiji caused colic pain.. switched to Similac total comfort 1.later it caused green stool.took Lectogen caused Loose motions.currently he is on Morinaga NL 33..suits him but taking for last two months.should I switch this formula milk because I heard lectose free not good for long term use kindly suggest some good formula milk
start semisolids
give mother feed n start semisolids,
Should start weaning diet. And keep record of Baby Weight and Length for Percentile Calculation to check for catch up growth.
If he remains well on Similac total comfort then u need not to worry about the colour. Other option is gradually in one month add normal formula feed in between lactose free milk and then shift to complete normal formula. Add semi solid purées
Green stool is not a problem.
Try starting semi solids.
Try replacing the formula gradually with the normal ones like first give once a day continues the previous formula for the rest of the day n note any change or discomfort, later on if this suits the baby then replace it fully n gradually.
use lactose free for 2 months
after 2 months switch back to normal formula
