Asking For Someone else, Son, Male, 0.2 Years old, lahore
Assalam o alikum. Please approve my question. I've joined the forum just because of this. My son is 2 months old. His birth weight was 2.4 kg. His current weight is 3.1 kg. He is not gaining weight, and has fat malabsorption issue. Stools mein fat nikal deta hai. He is currently on URSO and vitamins A, D, E and K. His urine reducing substances test is negative, coombs test is negative, CRP is negative, Blood C/S is negative, TSH is 5.6. I'm attaching the reports, please let me know what is the recovery time of this disease? When will he start gaining weight?
What kind of malabsorption syndrome he has? Is his disease diagnosed? Cystic fibrosis, abetalipoproteinimea etc ruled out?
- Which milk are giving him ?
plz show TFTs report...is he having repeated chest infection? since when he started having juandice?whats the stool colour?

He hasn't had any infection. CRP is negative. His stool colour is mustard since birth. He had jaundice on 4th day of life, it was around 16.

genetic test ka wait karen after that it will be more easy to predict about the resolution of disease...till than continue oral feed and supplements...

He is on mother feed. Stool colour is mustard since birth. We have given sample for genetic testing but results will take around 4 weeks.
Doctors are saying that he can't absorb LCT's from milk.
