Talk to Pediatrician on Panadol Drops For 1 Month Old Son

Aoa all respected doctors, Is it ok if i give panadol drops to my 1 month old son suffering from 101F fever? any suggestions for quantity? Also he is having severe colic pain.. please suggest for thay also. Thanks
yes u can give him 4 ton5 drops of panadol
Panadol can givig according to weight, 10 mg per kg , about one. drper of 1 ml for 4 to 5 kg
panadol half dropper in case of fever above 100°...two doses should be 4 to 6 hours apart
you can give ez-colic drops for colic, about 2 to 3 drops in case of pain
however 101 fever at 1 month isn't a good sign and you should get consultation to find out cause of fever

Thanks dear doctor.. I have checked his fever, its normal now.. does circumcision cause fever in newborn child?

First question is why a one month old baby has a fever?
Panadol might help with fever only. It won't treat the cause of fever.
My advice is to see q qualified Paediatrician for complete assessment.
Fever in young babies may be a sign of serious illness

Thanks dear doctor for responding me, his fever is normal now alhamdolillah.. he has been circumcised 4 days ago. could that be the reason of his fever?

if he had circumcision few days ago, make sure there are no signs of infection at the site. signs may be more redness, swelling or pus discharge. if it is the case then baby will need antibiotics after physical assessment
