Talk to Pediatrician on Passing Stool Many Times A Day

My son is 1.5 months old. He used to pass stool 5 to 6 times a day since a month, with a sound like passing gas. He is on motherfeed. He is active Alhumdulillah. Doctor didn't describe any medicine. He said it's normal for newborns and will be fine after few days. But now it's too long to get resolve on its own.

Babies of such age groups normally pass 3 to 4 or 5 stools per 24 hours but it depends on the following factors :
* How frequently the baby is fed ?
* After the feeds for how long you burp the baby ?
* What sort of diet the mother is taking ?
* Any medicines taken by the mother ?
* Does the mother feed the baby, while lying down ?
* Are the feeds being given at timely intervals ?
