Dear Parent,
I feel it is not appropriate to prescribe any medicine without knowing the proper history like number of stool, consistency, amount presence of blood or mucus and any associated symptoms.
If you just want to know whether this drug is safe or not then yes it could be given infant more than 3 months old. child up to 9kg 1 sachet 8hourly and more then 9kg 2 sachet 8hourly sprinkle on food or mix in bottle and give immediately, shouldn't be given more then 7 days.
Avoided if a child has history of allergy to it, chronic kidney or liver disease, has chronic diarrhea, has persistent vomiting.
Low Osmolar ORS is the mainstay of treatment for diarrhea in a 15 month old approx half cup after every loose stool along with Khchri Banana And Yougurt should be given.

10mg 8n water mix it and take it suddenly
Three times a day till stool settles for max of 7 days
