Asking For Other, Male 8, Islamabad
A boy 8 years old usually pee in his sleep. Not that he needs the urge to urinate in day time frequently. But at night he does so, after every few days. Many doctors were consulted, no improvement. Can you suggest something plz, is it treatable?
Bedwetting, also known as nocturnal enuresis, is common in children and can be caused by various factors such as delayed bladder maturation, hormonal imbalances, or psychological stress. Here are a few suggestions for managing bedwetting:
1️⃣ Encourage your son to empty his bladder before bedtime and limit fluid intake in the evening.
2️⃣ Consider using bedwetting alarms, which can help your son recognize the sensation of a full bladder and wake up to use the bathroom.
3️⃣ Talk to your doctor about medications that may help to your child
4️⃣ Create a supportive and understanding environment for your child, as bedwetting can sometimes lead to emotional distress.
It's important to remember that each case is unique, so I recommend consulting with a pediatrician or a pediatric urologist who can provide a thorough evaluation and personalized treatment plan for your son.
