Assalam-o-Alaikum my baby girl is 6 months old now, can i give her cow milk by adding some water in it? I want to stop using formula milk. Thanks
WAS. I would suggest not to use cow milk before the baby is one year of age. Continue formula milk and as she is 6 months old, encourage her to eat semi solids now. Cow milk is deficient in iron, if you will use it, she will likely become iron deficient as first 6 months of feeding are tricky for moms as it is, further diluting it will reduce nutritional value per serving and you will end up with a undernourished baby.
