Asking For Self, Male 06, Karachi

Dear Dr.
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to seek urgent advice regarding my six-month-old baby.
Recently, I observed blood in my baby's vomit on two separate occasions. Prior to this, he was suffering from fever and excessive crying. Following a consultation, you prescribed Cefixim and Paracetamol.
Despite following the prescribed medication, the presence of blood in his vomit persists, which is causing me significant concern. Could you please advise on the possible reasons for this symptom and suggest any further steps or tests that should be undertaken for a proper diagnosis?
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
Best regards,
[Muhammad Ashraf]

First of all see the color of the syp, sometimes it is mistaken as bloody vomit though it is the clr of medicine which comes immediately after vomit… secondly if that is confirmed as blood then u need some investigations like CBC and PT APTT INR to rule out the cause, also Bleeding time and clotting time and proper history of bruising or bleeding after minor trauma.,,if male then circumcision can be a clue to bleeding disorder
follow up with the dr who prescribed the meds
